Today’s Scripture
Mark 1:16-20
Jesus Calls His First Disciples
16 As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. 17 “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” 18 At once they left their nets and followed him.
19 When he had gone a little farther, he saw James son of Zebedee and his brother John in a boat, preparing their nets. 20 Without delay he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him.
Today’s Music
A Time for Everything
Mark Hayes
There is a time for everything,
a season for everything under heaven:
A time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to harvest,
a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to destroy and a time to rebuild,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to grieve and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones,
a time to embrace and a time to turn away
a time to search and a time to lose,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silence and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
There is a time for everything under heaven
There is a time
There is a time
